Allagash Brewing has announced that it will be releasing a new beer named Farm To Face at the brewery on Nov. 3.
Farm To Face began its life as a pale ale that was fermented with house yeast, but pediococcus and lactobacillus were added after primary fermentation, along with three pounds of peaches per gallon from Applecrest Farm Orchards in New Hampshire. After 10 months the beer was put into corked and caged 375-ml bottles. It is listed at 5.7 percent ABV.
The new release from the Portland, Maine-based brewery will be released at the brewery on Monday before being available in limited quantities across Allagash’s distribution network of 17 states and Washington, D.C.
