AleSmith Brewing Co. and Maui Brewing Co. have collaborated on HI Hoaloha, a “hoppy pale ale” brewed with Koshihikari sake rice and Galaxy hops. The Hoaloha in the name of the beer is a slang term that translates to friends from the Hawaiian language.

According to a post on AleSmith’s Facebook page, HI Hoaloha will be packaged in 16-ounce cans and is scheduled to be released in “mid-February 2019.”
