There’s much more to Thai food than solely attempting to ingest notoriously spicy meals. In food as well as beer there are many flavors to explore.

With that in mind, another variant of AleSmith Brewing Co.’s Speedway Stout is in the works. The stout uses the San Diego brewery’s year-round Speedway Stout as its base, a beer that was first released in 1999 and has had more than 60 different variants released since.

Not to be confused with the previously released Bird’s Eye Thai Chili variant, this new incarnation will feature coconut, ginger, lime, lemongrass, basil and coffee according to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). As with the other members of the series, the stout will feature 12 percent ABV and occupy a 750ml bottle.
