Alamo Beer Co. has released a new seasonal beer in bottles.
Summer Ale is a 4.7 percent ABV kölsch brewed with hallertauer and saag hops as well as Cologne yeast. The new beer joins three other seasonal releases for the San Antonio-based brewery: Holiday IPA (7.1 percent ABV), Fiestavial (4.5 percent ABV) and Maibock (7.2 percent ABV.)
“Alamo Beer Company has built beers around our traditional German-style brewing methods and introduced beer enthusiasts to a variety of easy to drink session beer, said Zac Harris, director of sales at Alamo Beer Co., in a post on its website. “Our kölsch, the Summer Ale, is exactly that. It’s a great way to cool off underneath the Texas sun.”
According to a post on its website, Summer Ale is packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and is shipping to retailers throughout the state of Texas now and will be available through August.
