Saint Arnold Brewing Co. is making a new pale, with a twist.
The Houston-based brewery has filed a new label with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) for 7720 Pale Ale, a new addition to the company’s Icon Series.
The Icon Series showcases iconic beer styles or to allow the brewers to be creative with their recipes. The beers are then released for three month periods.
For 7720 Pale Ale, Brewers at Saint Arnold’s are using a new experimental hop from Germany, Hop No. 2010/72/20, which has been named Ariana.
The beer label has more information:
Heavy hop additions during the later stage of the brewing process add notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and “juicy fruit” to the aroma and flavor.
According to the brewery, 7720 Pale Ale will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and is scheduled to begin shipping to retailers “next week.”
