A new upcoming beer from 3 Floyds Brewing Co. is being brewed “for the people to benefit the ACLU.”

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), 3 Floyds is working on releasing People Power High Tea, a “sparkling ale” brewed with Darjeeling black tea sourced from the Rare Tea Cellar that will be packaged in 19.2-ounce cans.

This is not the first time that the Munster, Ind.-based brewery has incorporated tea into one of its ales, after it released Alpha Khan, a 6.5 percent ABV “Mongolian-style pale ale” brewed with lactose and a blend of three hand-selected teas sourced from the Rare Tea Company.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
