According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Modern Times Beer is working on releasing a brand new double IPA.
The San Diego-based brewery’s new release, Gigazapper, is a West Coast-style double IPA brewed with Comet, El Dorado, Amarillo, and Cashmere hops that’s set to clock in at 8 percent ABV and 60 IBU. Pouring with a pale gold hue, the brewery used three different malt bills in the brewing process which included 2-Row, Vienna, and white wheat malt.
The beer is set to be packaged and released in 16-ounce cans across the brewery’s distribution footprint.
An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
