MARTIN HOUSE RELEASES BUFFALO WANGZ SOUR ALE BREWED WITH FRANK’S REDHOT BUFFALO WING SAUCE

The newest release from Martin House Brewing Co. is “Literally a buffalo wing sauce sour beer.”

As the name indicates, Buffalo Wangz is a 5.2 percent ABV sour ale brewed with Frank’s RedHot buffalo wing sauce. The Fort Worth-based brewery has become known for incorporating unusual ingredients into its creations, including in beers like Best Maid Sour Pickle Beer brewed with Best Maid Pickle Juice and The Honey Butter brewed with WHATABURGER honey butter sauce.

“No jokes about it,” reads a post on Martin House’s Facebook page. “Can’t emphasize how much this is actually a BUFFALO WING SAUCE BEER. So if you get down with Frank’s and a little spice, then this is the one for you!”

According to Martin House, Buffalo Wangz is packaged in four packs of 16-ounce cans ($18) that are on sale at the brewery now.

I am an editor of Tenemu. In my former life, I was a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and Fort Worth Star-Telegram for almost seven years and a documentary wedding photographer for almost 13 years. I have been drinking craft beer in various incarnations for about seven years. I shoot and edit many of the sites, assist in staff management, cover news and assist in running Tenemu's social media accounts. My focus is on reviewing stouts, gose, lambics, fruit, and smoked beers, although I also enjoy quite a few hours and some IPAs when not reviewing. In what little free time I have, I enjoy smoking cigars, photographing various art projects, and pretending that I can cook something edible.
