DESCHUTES JOINING FORCES WITH XICHA BREWING ON CATHARINA GUAVA SOUR ALE

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Deschutes Brewery and Xicha Brewing are teaming up to produce Catharina Guava Sour, a 5 percent ABV sour ale brewed with both guava and raspberries. The new ale will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles.

Deschutes has previously released a draft-only version of the ale named Catharina Sour that incorporates the same ingredients, but that incarnation came in at a slightly higher 5.4 percent ABV.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
