There are not many Cucumber beers on the market these days,[ref]The Twisted Pine Cucumber Cream Ale that I reviewed last year is just one of them.[/ref] but in 2011, Cigar City released one for the first time as a summer seasonal.
Today I’ll be once again using Google to translate a brewery’s web page, because I’ll be reviewing the Brasserie Bourganel Biere Aux Marrons from Vals les Bains, France and imported to the U.S. by Shelton Brothers Inc.
In May of 2013, Twisted Pine Brewing Co. out of Boulder, Colo. released the second beer in its Farm to Foam series, Cucumber Cream Ale.
Twisted Pine began the Farm to Foam series last year as “a tribute to the sustainable spirit of Colorado.” With that in mind, each of the ingredients used for the beers in the series are sourced from inside the state of Colorado.
