BOTTLE LOGIC SCHEDULES ONLINE RELEASE OF CLAREMONT CRAFT ALES COLLABORATION TECHNICAL CHALLENGE 2021 FOR SUNDAY

The newest collaboration between Bottle Logic Brewing and Claremont Craft Ales was inspired by the flavors found in Jaffa Cake.

That beer is Technical Challenge 2021, a 13.77 percent ABV bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout using a “chocolate malt-heavy imperial stout recipe” that is brewed with a “healthy helping of rye double mash base.” The new creation was then conditioned on Madagascar vanilla and “a mountain of Ecuadorian cacao nibs” before being steeped on California orange peels.

Technical Challenge 2021 is a member of Bottle Logic’s Stasis Project Series, which “celebrates the barrel as a fifth ingredient” and includes other notables such as Reverse Engineering, Equivalent Dose, and Arcane Rituals.

According to Bottle Logic, Technical Challenge 2021 will be packaged in 500ml bottles ($23.95) and will have a purchase limit that will be decided closer to the release. Interested parties will have the chance to order tickets redeemable for bottles on May 7 via Eventbrite with bottle pickups starting that same day.

In addition, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bottle Logic is allowing proxies for this release as long as the proxy’s name and information are added at the time the tickets for the beers are purchased.
