Ballast Point Brewing Co. has released its plans for 2018 and fans have a number of things to get excited about, including new beers as well as new packing for some classic creations.
First, there will be two new beers: Moscow Mule, a 10 percent ABV sour ale brewed with ginger and lime zest packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are expected to be available from April-July; and Aloha Sculpin,
a 7 percent “Hazy” IPA that is brewed with Brux Trolls yeast and packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are expected to be available from February-September.
In addition, there will be a number of new packaging options for already existing releases, including new 16-ounce cans for Fathom IPA and Sculpin IPA, while both Unfiltered Sculpin and Manta Ray IPA will also get a new option in the form of six-packs of 12-ounce cans.
Finally, both Tart Peach Kolsch and Piper Down IPA will be moving from draft-only releases to being packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans that will be available at retailers in April and December respectively.
