I am a chef by trade and I have been in the food and beverage industry for over 36 years. It is an industry that I am sure I will retire in. I have been a beer drinker for over 36 years as well, but just within the last couple years, I have indulged myself into the “craft” beer scene. Up until almost recently, craft beer (in my opinion) was sitting down and enjoying a nice cold Heinekin or Corona. My eyes have been opened and I have deeply explored and discovered the amazing variety, the craftsmanship and the epic journey that is craft beer. During my brief trip, I have had the privilege of discovering and tasting over 2,000 different beers of all styles and from many different countries. My favorite style is IPA, but I am also a fan of stouts, wheats and fruit beers amongst others.
