ALESMITH RELEASING SPEEDWAY STOUT ESPRESSO AND MADAGASCAR VANILLA THIS WEEK

The first of four different 2021 Speedway Stout variants from AleSmith Brewing Co. is being released nationwide this week.

Speedway Stout Espresso and Madagascar Vanilla is a 12 percent ABV imperial stout that has been “infused with tons of Madagascar vanilla” as well as a “bold espresso blend.” As the name suggests, the new beer uses the San Diego-based brewery’s year-round Speedway Stout (12 percent ABV) as its base, a beer that was first released in 2002.

This is the first time AleSmith has distributed its canned Speedway variants on a national level, and this version of the stout will be followed by three more quarterly variant releases “later this year.”

According to a press release, Speedway Stout Espresso and Madagascar Vanilla will be available from January through February packed in four-packs of 16-ounce cans starting this week at “select AleSmith distributors nationwide.”
