Another week, another video.

This time it’s a microscopic release from Jackie O’s Brewing named Basement Berries, a 6.8 percent ABV red ale that is packaged in 375ml bottles with only 20 cases available when it was sold in August.

The release consisted of a single barrel that had cherries, raspberries and strawberries added to it at different times over an 18 month span and was then aged for an additional 18 months before being bottled. The reason it was left for so long was simple: the barrel was located in the back of the barrel room, and it would have be a logistical nightmare to get it out, nessceitating removing most of the barrels between it and the exit.

Thanks to Dan Reeve of Cigar Press for sending the bottle for review.
