According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Oregon-based Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery has collaborated with Jester King Brewing Co.

The two breweries will release Zester Queen, an American wild ale brewed with grapefruit zest and fir needles from trees in Oregon before being aged in oak barrels for one year. Zester Queen was brewed at Wolves & People in February 2016.

The Zester King rules all she surveys. Peel by peel she rules the rinds, making bolder her chosen barrels. With a mixed-culture fermentation of all-wild yeast from our two farms, this American wild ale of pilsner malt, red wheat, and rye was coronated with a side of juicy citrus zest from the Lonestar State & a big bucket of fir needles harvested steps from our kettles in Oregon, then 100% fermented and aged in oak for a year. Enjoy!

The 5.6 percent ABV beer with 14 IBU will be packaged in 750ml bottles.

A release date has not been announced.
