Last year, Westbrook Brewing Co. released a specific beer for its sixth anniversary, and now information has emerged about two different variants.

One of those will be Bourbon Barrel-Aged Sixth Anniversary, a 10 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with candi syrup before being conditioned on cocoa nibs, roasted hazelnuts and vanilla beans and aged in bourbon barrels for one year. As the name suggests, Westbrook released a non-barrel-aged version of the beer to celebrate its sixth anniversary in December 2016.

In addition, Westbrook filed a keg label for Cabernet Barrel-Aged Sixth Anniversary, a 10 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with candi syrup before being conditioned on cocoa nibs, roasted hazelnuts and vanilla beans and aged in Cabernet barrels.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Bourbon Barrel-Aged Sixth Anniversary will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
