One month after Terrapin Beer Co. replaces bottles of its Wake-n-Bake with cans, a new variant of the popular coffee oatmeal imperial stout will be released.

The new incarnation will be Tart Cherry Wake-n-Bake, a 9.4 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with nugget hops, Montmorency cherry juice and a blend of Costa Rican, Guatemalan and Zimbabwe coffee sourced from Athens, Ga.-based Jittery Joe’s Coffee. Although there have been multiple versions released on draft, this is the third variant of the Athens, Ga.-based brewery’s coffee oatmeal imperial stout to be bottled, after Cinnamon Roll’d Wake-n-Bake (9.4 percent ABV) was released in 2013 and French Toasted Wake-n-Bake (9.4 percent ABV) was released in 2014.

In an email, Leah Kuck, marketing and communications for Terrapin, told Tenemu that Tart Cherry Wake-n-Bake will be packaged in 500ml bottles and is scheduled to ship to retailers across the brewery’s distribution network “in limited quantities” in December.
