Fans of Prairie Artisan Ales have been asking for a new packaging option for years, and now it seems their wishes have come true.
According to a post on the brewery’s Facebook page, Prairie has started packaging at least one of its beers in cans for the first time today. A video posted on the brewery’s Instagram page appears to show 12-ounce cans of Prairie Paradise, a 13 percent imperial stout brewed with coconut and vanilla.
In addition, a comment on Facebook by Cody Wilson, market ambassador for Prairie, indicates that Prairie Flare, a 7 percent ABV gose-style ale brewed with orange and coriander will have a “big launch” in June packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce cans.
