Next week, one of Bottle Logic Brewing’s most popular creations is seeing its third release.

The beer is Fundamental Observation, a 13.6 percent ABV “imperial vanilla stout” that has aged in a combination of barrels that previously held W.L. Weller, Buffalo Trace, Rebel Yell, and Four Roses bourbon. According to the Anaheim, Calif.-based brewery, each individual barrel had multiple additions of 2 1/2 pounds of Madagascar vanilla beans over the course of a year.

Debuting in 2015, Fundamental Observation was released in 2016 and is part of Bottle Logic’s Stasis Project Series, which is made up of barrel-aged beers.

The newest batch of Fundamental Observation will be packaged in 500ml bottles ($22.95) and will have a three bottle per person purchase limit. Interested parties will have the chance to order tickets redeemable for bottles on July 9 at 12 p.m. PST on Eventbrite. Bottle pickups will start July 15 and no proxies will be allowed.
