Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales is shipping a new beer that was brewed in commemoration of an important event.
The new release is La Vida Improvisation, a 5.9 percent ABV “dry-hopped sour saison” that includes a level meter on the back of the label that indicates the beer is beyond 11 at “sour level at time of bottling.” The saison was brewed to celebrate the anniversary of owner Ron Jeffries and his wife Laurie.
According to the Dexter, Mich.-based brewery’s Instagram page, La Vida Improvisation is packaged in 750ml bottles and is shipping to retailers across Jolly Pumpkin’s distribution network “this week and next.”
