A new release coming before the end of the year from Jackie O’s Pub & Brewery is inspired by “the refreshing minerality of cigars and Chablis”, which is the northernmost wine district of the Burgundy region in France.

Babbling Brook is a 6 percent ABV mixed fermentation saison-style ale that has been aged in 600 gallon Vin Santo wine casks for six months. Vin Santo translates to holy wine from Italian and is a style of Italian dessert wine that are usually produced from white grape varieties.

In an email, Jackie O’s head brewer Brad Clark told Tenemu that Babbling Brook will be packaged in 500ml bottles and is scheduled to be released “in the next two months.”
