After debuting last April, Hill Farmstead Brewery’s Farmer Wave is returning this week.

As with the first release, Farmer Wave is an ale brewed with oats, lime zest, lime juice and salt that was produced in collaboration with Matt Dinges of Good Life Provisions in Lincoln, Neb. The beer’s name comes from a specific rural truck driver gesture wherein strangers wave to each other with a raised index finger as an acknowledgement of a passing moment of friendship.

According to a post on Hill Farmstead’s website, Farmer Wave is packaged in 750ml bottles ($12) and will go on sale at the brewery’s retail shop on May 10 with a limit of six bottles per person.
