We now know the fifth beer that Founders’ Brewing Co.’s Barrel-Aged Series is releasing for 2017.
The beer is DKML, dry-hopped “imperial malt liquor” that has been aged in bourbon barrels. DKML will join five other beers being released at part of Founders’ Barrel-Aged Series this year:
- Frootwood — January
- Kentucky Breakfast Stout — April
- Doom — May
- DKML — July
- Backwoods Bastard — October
- Unannounced Beer
According to a post on Founder’s website, DKML will be packaged in both four-packs of 12-ounce bottles as well as 750ml bottles and is scheduled to ship to retailers across the brewery’s 45-state distribution network from July-August.
