This May, fans of one of Firestone Walker Brewing Co.’s most anticipated Proprietor’s Vintage Series releases will finally get the monkey off of their backs.

That’s because the Pasa Robles, Calif.-based brewery will be releasing Stickee Monkee 2017, a 12.5 percent ABV “Central Coast Quad” brewed with Styrian Golding hops as well as Belgian candi sugar before being aged in “a selection of fine bourbon barrels.” The quadruple-style ale debuted in 2010 and was first bottled in 2014.

According to a post on Firestone Walker’s Facebook page, Stickee Monkee will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles and is scheduled be released in May with 9,500 total cases available. In addition, while Stickee Monkee and the other members of the Proprietor’s Vintage Series have historically been packaged in 22-ounce bottles, all of the releases will be sold in smaller 12-ounce bottles in 2017.
