A new beer from Firestone Walker Brewing Co. translates from Latin to the strong.

The new release is named Fortem, an 8.2 percent ABV unfiltered imperial IPA featuring a can design that shows a confrontation between a bear and lion. In the past, each animal has represented one of the co-founders of the Paso Robles, Calif.-based brewery: David Walker is represented by the lion, while Adam Firestone is represented by the bear.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Fortem will be packaged in 16-ounce cans. An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
