In commemoration of its 10th anniversary last year, Deschutes Brewery released three different versions of its The Abyss imperial stout, and it looks like the Bend, Oregon-based brewery will be continuing the tradition in 2017.

In addition to Abyss 2017 that is scheduled to be released in November, there is the possibly of at least two additional incarnations: Rum Barrel-Aged The Abyss, an imperial stout brewed with blackstrap molasses and brewer’s licorice with vanilla beans and cherry bark added before being aged for 12 months in rum barrels; and Tequila Barrel-Aged The Abyss, which is the same imperial stout aged for 12 months in tequila barrels.

According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), both Abyss variants will packaged in 22-ounce bottles.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
