A popular Oregon brewery will soon be selling its beers in a fourth state.
According to a post on its Facebook page, Tillamook-based de Garde Brewing has been granted approval to distribute its beers inside the state of Texas through Flood Independent Distribution. However, the brewery will still need to apply and get its actual beer labels approved by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) before beers can actually be sold by retailers.
Texas is only the fourth state that de Garde distributes to outside of California, Washington and its home state of Oregon.
Update (Feb. 3, 2017) — This post was updated to include details on the approval of distribution. It was originally published on Dec. 16, 2016.
