Clown Shoes Beer has announced part of its 2017 schedule, and there are some surprises on the list.
First off is the release of a new year-round beer named Space Cookie, a “hoppy pale ale” that will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans. The new beer is scheduled to debut in March 2017, and joins three other releases available year-round in either six-packs of 12-ounce cans or four-packs of 12-ounce bottles: Clementine White Ale (6 percent ABV), Mangö Kölsch (6.5 percent ABV) and Whammy Bar #2 IPA (6.5 percent ABV.)
Next, both Exorcism of Rachel Wall (11.5 percent ABV) and Exorcism at Sunset (12.5 percent ABV) are moving to national distribution after starting out as Massachusetts state exclusives and are scheduled to ship to accounts nationwide in January and February respectively. In addition, the recently announced La Pingüino En Fuego (10 percent ABV) is schelulded to be on shelves in January, and there will be an unnamed addition to the company’s Beast Series that will ship in November.
Finally, there will be a number of changes and additions to the brewery’s Specialty Releases, including three new beers: a BlackCurrant Saison that will be available in April, an Experimental IPA that will be on shelves in June and an unnamed anniversary beer that will be available in December. In addition, Aurora Orangeades IPA (7 percent ABV) will ship nationwide in January after debuting as a Georgia state exclusive in December 2015.
According to Clown Shoes, a separate schedule for state-exclusive releases will be announced in the near future.
