Cherry lovers will be very happy with a new ale coming from The Bruery.
According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the Placentia, Calif.-based brewery will be releasing White Chocolate with Cherries, a 14.2 percent ABV wheatwine-style ale brewed with cacao nibs sourced from TCHO Chocolate in San Francisco, tart cherries and vanilla beans before being aged in bourbon barrels. The new beer uses The Bruery’s White Chocolate as its base, which debuted in 2012.
In an email to Tenemu, Cambria Griffith, distribution marketing manager for The Bruery, told Tenemu “we made White Chocolate with Cherries in addition to the regular release earlier this year. The cherry edition has been available to society members only in bottles.” Bottles of White Chocolate with Cherries are not expected to see distribution.
