The Brewers Association (BA) has released its annual lists of the top 50 craft and overall brewing companies in the U.S., and the names at the top of the lists might look a little familiar.

That’s because the top 10 entries on the craft brewery list is unchanged from last year, with Pottsville, PA-based D. G. Yuengling and Son, Inc, Boston Beer Co in Boston and Chico, Calif.-based Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. taking the top three spots. The biggest changes on the list included Duvel Moortgat USA, which moved from the 15th spot last year to sixth this year, and Oskar Blues Brewing Holding Co. moving from the 14th spot to tenth place.

The top 10 breweries on this year’s craft breweries list are:

  7. Bell’s Brewery, Inc (Comstock, Mich.)
  8. Deschutes Brewery (Bend, Ore.)
  9. Stone Brewing Co. (Escondido, Calif.)
  10. Oskar Blues Brewing Holding Co. (Longmont, Colo.)

Brewers Association Top 50 U.S. Craft Breweries 2016 List

“The top U.S. brewers continue to drive demand, growth, innovation and exponential interest in beers from small and independent brewers,” said Bart Watson, chief economist of the Brewers Association, in a press release. “With a historic record number of breweries in the U.S., the top brewers continue to open new markets and expose beer drinkers to a variety of fuller-flavored styles and offerings.”

The list also includes the top 50 U.S. breweries for overall sales, the top three of which were unchanged from last year: Saint Louis, Mo.-based Anheuser-Busch, Inc, Chicago, Ill.-based MillerCoors and Los Angeles, Calif.-based Pabst Brewing Co.
