A small of the cans of Braxton Brewing Co.’s cans of Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout are being replaced if they exhibit issues.

According to a post on the Covington, Ky.-based brewery’s website, the recall is due to and “intermittent mechanical issue with the seaming head on our canning line”” that caused the seam of some of the cans to be compromised.

“There is a very good chance that your cans are within specification of a properly seamed canned,” said Braxton co-founder and coo Evan Rouse, in a press release. “In total of multiple canning runs, only a very small portion of the dates are in question.”

The brewery is replacing any cans that appear to be leaking, and any cans with canning dates up to Feb. 2 could be affected. Customers who have issues with any cans can fill out a form on the brewery’s website, with replacement cans available beginning on Feb. 12 until March 1.
