Residents of the Big Apple will soon be able to buy Boulevard Brewing Co.’s beers on their local shelves.

The Kansas City, Mo.-based brewery has announced that it has signed agreements with both Union Beer Distributors and Craft Beer Guild Distributing of New York to start distributing its beers throughout New York City beginning in March.

“New York City has been on our minds for some time,” said Steve Mills, Boulevard’s vp of sales, in a press release. “But we had to wait until we could do it right, to wait until we had the capacity and the right partners in place to support this important market.”

According to the press release, Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale (8.5 percent ABV), The Sixth Glass (10.5 percent ABV), Dark Truth Stout (9.7 percent ABV), Long Strange Tripel (9.2 percent ABV) and The Calling IPA (8.5 percent ABV), “along with a handful of Limited Release and seasonal Smokestack Series beers” will be available starting on March 2 during a week of launch events throughout the city. In addition, 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer (5.5 percent ABV) and Pop-Up IPA (4.3 percent ABV) will be available “this summer.”
