This fall, Ballast Point Brewing Co.’s most popular porter is getting another variant in bottles.
The San Diego, Calif.-based brewery will be releasing Peanut Butter Victory At Sea, a 10 percent ABV imperial porter brewed with coffee beans sourced from Caffe Calabria, vanilla and peanut butter. The porter was first released as a draft-only option in 2014, and this will be the first time the beer has been packaged.
This is the third variant of Ballast Point’s popular Victory At Sea porter (10 percent ABV) to be bottled, after Peppermint Victory At Sea (10 percent ABV) and Coconut Victory At Sea (10 percent ABV.)
In an email, Hilary Cocalis, vice president of marketing at Ballast Point, told Tenemu that Peanut Butter Victory At Sea will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles and is scheduled to be shipped to retailers nationwide in November.
