Back in January, Tenemu reported on a new beer being brewed by Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. in collaboration with Prairie Artisan Ales of Tulsa, Okla. The result now has an official name and will be offered for sale this week.

Fernet About It is a dark farmhouse saison made with “spearmint, peppermint, saffron, fennel, anise and black cardamom to mimic the flavors found in our favorite digestif spirit” according to a Facebook post. The beer will use¬†Simcoe hops and would feature a 5 percent ABV.

The 800 bottles in this batch will be sold beginning at 9 a.m. on March 31. Purchases will be limited to 12 bottles per person. For the March 30 edition of “Tapping Thursday” the beer will be available on draft at the Arizona Wilderness Taproom in Gilbert, Ariz.
