Alesmith Brewing Co. is giving fans of one of its most popular beers a new way to enjoy it.
According to a post on the San Diego, Calif.-based brewery’s Facebook page, it has shipped 16-ounce cans of Speedway Stout, a 12 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with coffee sourced from Ryan Bros. Coffee Inc. The imperial stout was first released in 2002, and has had more than 60 variants released since that time, including Hammerhead Speedway Stout, Hawaiian Speedway Stout and Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout among others.
Cans of Speedway Stout are being shipped to retailers in 21 states as well as the country of Denmark and are expected to be on shelves by mid-February.
